Part 1: Speaking Up in Meetings
Step 1 of 5
Part 01 · Trust & Openness
How do people communicate in your meetings and discussions?
Select all that apply to your team:
People stay quiet in meetings
They keep thoughts to themselves in meetings, but complain in private chats or over coffee later.
Too polite to share real opinions
People avoid difficult conversations because they don't want to hurt feelings or upset bosses.
People get defensive when given feedback
Constructive advice feels like a personal attack instead of helpful guidance.
Only a few loud voices dominate
Quieter or junior staff rarely speak up, even when they have great ideas or solutions.
We speak openly and challenge ideas respectfully
Team members feel safe to share their real opinions without fear of being judged.
